Updating your servers to the latest version
Introduction
Over time, when your server has existed long enough, you may find that one day you can no longer join your server because it is out of date with your client. This is normal behaviour and our servers can be updated in one of two ways.
Update process #1
When you stop your server and start it again using our control panel, some games check for updates on startup. If your unable to join your server after a stop and start, then you may need to follow Update process #2.

Stop / Start your server
Update process #2
1) Stop your server

Stop your server
2) Backup/Download your server save using File Manager
Your server's save file will differ depending on the game you are hosting for, if you need further assistance feel free to reach out to our support team.

3) Using the left-sidebar navigate to Configuration > Server Actions
4) Click Reinstall
5) If required paste your save backup into your server again using File Manager
6) Start your server

7) Your server console should output the version you are now operating on. Attempt to join your server and it should now work.
Delta Networks relies on game developers and third party vendors to provide new updates. In some cases these vendors might experience delays when releasing updates on another platform or channel. If you're performing the above and your server is still out-of-date but your PC version is updated, it simply becomes a waiting game. If you're still unsure or wish to raise this to us to check for you, reach out via a support ticket and our team can offer guidance.
Troubleshooting
My server says I have no space! What do I do?
If your server is trying to update, but its not saying you have enough space when starting it, please raise a support ticket.
Our team have designed the products to provide as much space as possible however circumstances such as logs, mods and other content may fill up the space you might have otherwise had available to perform updates. (Updates need double the space as it temporarily makes two copies of server files during an upgrade in most cases)
When reaching out, you can choose to:
a) Request a permanent storage boost for a small add-on fee added to your on-going bill.
b) Request for a temporary increase, our team can perform the upgrade and then return your allocation back to normal.
