This page will quickly run you through the steps of starting up and then joining your own server.

You have a Satisfactory server.

Purpose

To demonstrate how you start and join your own server for the first time.

Procedure

Setting up your server for the first time

1. From the Game Panel → Mange → Console

2. Start your server

3. Copy the IP Address by clicking on it (top-left)
   
   

   

   Click IP to copy

   
   

   
   

4. Open the Satisfactory game on your computer

5. Click on “Server Manager” menu button → + Add Server

6. Add your server’s IP address by pasting what you copied on step 3

   1. Hint: You need to backspace the port :7654 and put it in the “Port” box below the IP box.

7. Click confirm

8. Follow the first-time claim steps

   1. Enter a server name → Confirm

   2. Set an admin password → Confirm

9. Click on the Create Game tab from your newly added server in the Server Manager menu

   1. Pick your starting area

   2. Give your session name something memorable

   3. Click Start Game
      
      

      
      
      

      
      

10. You now have setup your server!

11. If you want to configure your server you can click on the Server Settings button
    
    

    
    
    

    
    

12. You can join the server using the Join Game button from the bottom-right

Troubleshooting

I can’t join my server it says encryption token missing
