File Manager
About
Any files larger than 1GB will not be allowed over File Manager, we recommend you use SFTP instead.
The File Manager is a built-in responsive web-browser based system that allows you to edit your server’s file contents without the need for another terminal, program or local access.
It allows you to change files with a built in text editor, delete, move, compress and uncompress and more.
Features
File Manager
This image will show you the 4 primary functions of the file manager.

The filepath
The file path will follow you as you drill further into the filesystem. If you click on
logsfor example, the filepath would then become/ home / container / logs /You can click on the word to move ‘up’ in a directory.

Clicking 'up' a directory in the filepath
The filesystem
The filesystem works much like one from Microsoft’s Windows OS however there are some Linux assertions also. For the most part, it is familiar and intuitive so you don’t feel lost when navigating your files.
You can use the
meatballsbutton to perform further actions like renaming a file.
Renaming a file and then opening it
The filesystem also allows you to perform bulk actions, however be mindful to not accidentally delete all of your data!

Performing a bulk task
You can also mark files for
quick accessto easily access them later. This is best used for files hidden deep in folders saving you time trying to locate them after the first time. (more about quick access in step 4.)Our servers include some default quick access files we anticipate you will use reguarly.

The action buttons are self-explanatory, they include:
