Updating modpacks
Purpose
This guide shows you how to update your Minecraft Java editions' server modpack using our game panels one click modpack installer.
Disclaimer
Delta Networks clearly states what packages we offer are recommended for modding. If you attempt to mod a server not recommended for builds other than vanilla, we will not provide support regarding server instability issues.
Prerequisite
You have an already installed modpack you wish to update.
Make sure your server is stopped.
Procedure
1) (Optional) From your Game Panel under the Management Tab, click "Backups" and click "create" to create a new backup
2) (Optional) Enter a name for the backup and click submit
2) From your Game Panel under the Management Section, click on "File Manager"

3) Locate your world folder. This is usually just a folder called "world"
If you cannot find a folder called world, you might have changed how your world is named. The world name is usually defined on line 30 of server.properties
4) Compress the world folder to an archive and download the world folder as seen below

Please note, if you have made changes to any config files (such as server.properties or mod specific configs) make sure to download them as well as they will be lost if you do not.
5) Once you have downloaded your world file (and any other optional files) Under the "Tools" section navigate to the "Modpack manager"
6) Search for the Modpack you wish to install and click the Install button for that modpack.

7) Once you click install, select the new version of the modpack from the drop-down menu, toggle the format button and click install

8) Wait for the notification that the server has downloaded the modpack

9) From your Game Panel under the Management Section, click on "File Manager"
10) Click on Upload and upload the world you downloaded previously

11) Decompress the world zip that you just uploaded, once this is completed you will see a folder called "world" or "World" - unless you've changed the name of your world in server.properties

12) Under the System menu, navigate to the server console and start the server.
❗ Make sure to watch the server's start up ❗
You will be prompted to accept the EULA. Your server will not start if you do not accept the EULA.
Your server should not generate a world, if it does the world folder name does not match what is in your server.properties or you have not uploaded and decompressed the world zip
13) If you downloaded any property or config files, to upload them successfully you must do the following:
Navigate to File Manager
Delete the file that is being replaced
For example, if you are uploading a server.properties file, delete the existing server.properties before uploading your old one
End
