Subusers is a fantastic addition to our Game Panel. This allows you as the server owner/administrator to delegate access into your server to specific people. This ability also supports RBAC (role-based access controls) meaning you don’t need to give someone full-access to your server, only what they need access to.

The security benefits of this are massive:

• You can assign granular access only when its needed

• Users can access the Game Panel with a separate username and password

  • Principal of least privilege and zero trust applies here

  • Zero risk of account compromise as you aren’t giving out your own passwords

• Fully supports 2FA just like your account

• You can revoke the account whenever you like

• The ‘Audit Log’ page can help you track changes or troubleshoot if someone makes the wrong change

The subusers page allows you to manage users, create, delete and configure permissions to access your server.

Creating a user

From the picture above, you would click on the create button, fill in their email address and select the permissions you want them to have. To save the new user you can click on the add new subuser button.

Modifying an existing user’s access

To modify a user’s access you have already invited, simply click on the Subusers page and then click on Configure Permissions button.

Once you have done this, modify the user’s access by adjusting the checkboxes accordingly and once you’re happy with the changes click on Update Subuser.

Removing a user completely

To remove a user, you can click the Trashcan button on the right of the user row.

Once pressed, you will receive a confirmation prompt. To confirm, enter the email address of the user you are deleting to ensure there’s no accidental removal.

Invitation

Once you create a subuser, the recipient will receive an inviation email and needs to accept in order to sign in.

Accepting the invitation

The recipient can click the buttons in both emails to i) open the server you have invited them to and ii) setup their own account.

Once they have accepted the invitation they will need to setup their password.

The next screen will ask them to setup 2FA. Simply click on the Enable 2-Factor Authentication.

Use a 2FA / OTP app such as Microsoft Authenticator to add the 2FA and enter the token to confirm the setup.

Logging in

To login, a subuser can just enter their email and password, click Sign In and wait 1-3 seconds.
