Show your server to public
Introduction
By default you can connect to your Project Zomboid server using direct connect and entering your server's IP and port. Your server's IP address is located at the top left on your Game Panel, to copy it, simply left-click the IP and it will copy to your clipboard.

Making your server public
Disclaimer: You need to reach out to our support team to help complete this task (as shown later in the steps below)
In order for your server to display in the game's public server listings you need to perform the following:
1) Stop your server

2) Access the File Manager from the left-sidebar

3) Navigate to / home / container / .cache / Server / {ServerName}.ini and open it
Where {ServerName} is your server name for the .ini file.
4) Scroll to approx. line 66 and change Public=false to true

5) Additionally, edit your PublicName= and PublicDescription= fields to what you wish
6) Save your config file
7) Start your server

8) Project Zomboid's servers take about 15min to 1hr to propagate changes. Your server will not always appear right away once made public for the first time. Please be patient. If you've waited this time and still not sure why it isn't appearing then check step 9.
9) If your server is still not appearing / searchable in-game, we recommend you enable all search filters and try searching again. (circled red below)

10) If you still cannot find your server and you've checked the filters, waited 1hr we recommend testing a direct connection. If your server is on and you can direct connect but still cannot see it in the list please raise a ticket and we can assist further if needed.
