Introduction

This guide will walk you through the required steps to correctly initialise your Stationeers server after installation.

Prerequisites / Disclaimers

• A successfully installed Stationeers server.

• Access to your server control panel.

Purpose

Running the server once generates the required configuration files. After this, the image must be switched for normal operation.

Procedure

1. Navigate to the Console tab in your control panel.

2. Click Start to run the server for the first time (if it has not already started automatically).

3. Allow the server to fully start.

4. Click Stop.

5. Navigate to Server Options.
   
   

   
   
   

   
   

6. Locate the Image setting.
   
   

   
   
   

   
   

7. Change the image from:

   Steam (Runs the Updater) → Game (Starts the Dedicated Server)

8. Save the change by left-clicking the preferred image.

9. Return to the Console tab.

10. Click Start.

Your Stationeers server is now correctly configured and ready for use.

The initial setup is now complete. You only need to repeat the image switching process when performing updates.
