Purpose

This guide will show you how to connect to your Rust server.

Procedure

1. Start your Rust server from the game panel. Make sure the indicator goes from cyan to green and says [DELTA] Server Marked ON. or similar.

2. Once your server has completed startup, open your Rust game from Steam

3. Proceed to start your game

4. TAB back to the Game Panel and left-click on the server IP address and port from the top-left of the panel

5. Press F1 type in client.connect {youripaddress:port} and press enter.
Hint: Paste the IP:PORT i.e. client.connect 123.456.789.98:0987

6. Hit enter key and you will begin to join your server.

Note: Your server might not query the master server backend immediately, this is OK, proceed to connect anyway using direct connect in the interim.
