Purpose

This article will describe how you change your Minecraft server version/edition from vanilla to forge, neo forge, craftbukkit, fabric and more.

Disclaimer

Delta Networks clearly states what packages we offer, are recommended for modding. If you attempt to mod a server not recommended for builds other than vanilla, we will not provide support regarding server instability issues.

Prerequisite

Make sure you have stopped your server.

Procedure

This guide will show you how to make a Forge server from the vanilla build that is selected by default.

1) Access your game panel and login - more information about accessing game panel

4) Select your version from the version dropdown box

Note: Can't see the latest version from elsewhere? Feel free to raise a support ticket, however there is a slight delay as to when a version gets added to our Game Panel, this isn't an overnight task and is out of Delta Networks control.

Note: if you try to access the server when the install is in progress you may encounter server timeouts or errors with the Game Panel.
